The fog was thick, and Han Sen summoned all the useful beast souls he had. He carefully made his way through the clouds, but when he entered, he had a bad feeling. He felt a chill run down his spine.
He saw a burning shadow coming towards him from the side. It was so fast that if it weren't for the devil-eye mask, he wouldn't have been able to see it.

Han Sen summoned the little angel to block it. Her greatsword struck something, and the little angel was forced to take a step back. The shadow retreated into the mist as well.
Before Han Sen could lift his feet again, the shadow came from the other side. Fortunately, Han Sen could still see where it was coming from, and so he commanded the little angel to block its attack.
Han Sen commanded Little Angel to block the attacks of the red shadow, and as he did so, he ran deeper into the shelter. The walls of the shelter were only one hundred meters high, but Han Sen had already traveled a few hundred meters in the mist, and he still hadn't seen the ground beneath him.
"Oh, no!" Han Sen suddenly realized something was wrong. This mist was not normal, after all.
Han Sen wanted to retreat, but he couldn't. He retreated a few hundred meters, but he was still trapped in the mist. No matter which way he ran, he couldn't get out.
Now, Han Sen was glad he still had the Devil-Eye Mask, which allowed him to see the creature in the mist. Without it, he would have been in a much more dangerous situation.
"It looks like this is the only super creature in the mist. If the others don't come, I'll have a chance. If I fight it one-on-one, I should be able to kill it," Han Sen thought to himself.
In fact, this super creature wasn't too dangerous for him. Even without the devil-eye mask, if the creature came near, he could use his dongxuan aura to track it.
The most troublesome thing was that he had to kill this creature as soon as possible. If he didn't, the giant beast was going to die outside the door. That would leave him without a strong ally.

The Little Angel swung her sword to strike the red shadow back. Han Sen didn't do anything, though. He just watched the red shadow's every move.
The red shadow, which had retreated into the mist, seemed to be frustrated by the failure of its previous attacks. It did not come out again, and it continued to observe Han Sen and the little angel.
Han Sen pretended not to see it and looked around. Aside from the creature, there was nothing but mist. He couldn't see anything else.
When he was outside, he could see the lifeforces of the other four super creatures. Now that he was in the mist, he couldn't see them. All he could see was the red shadow.
After observing for a while, the red shadow seemed to confirm that Han Sen and the little angel were unable to see it. So, it returned to Han Sen's back and approached Han Sen.
Han Sen looked left and right, as if he couldn't see it. But he used his dongxuan aura, and when the red shadow approached, he was able to see every movement it made.
The red shadow came within ten meters of Han Sen, and then it suddenly attacked. It turned into a beam of light and rushed towards Han Sen's back.
When the red shadow approached Han Sen, Han Sen quickly turned around and used his Flaming Rex Spike to block the attack. At the same time, he fired eight Z-steel bolts with his peacock crossbow.

The creature had been tricked by Han Sen, and now it was heavily injured. The little angel chased after it and swung her transparent greatsword at the creature.
Han Sen used his peacock crossbow to fire the remaining six Z-steel bolts.
Han Sen had chosen the perfect time to strike. While the red shadow was dodging the attacks of the little angel, it had used up all its strength and was unable to dodge.
With a few muffled groans, another four Z-steel arrows hit it, causing its body to tremble a few times.
The little angel turned into a flash of light and flew past the red shadow. Suddenly, a head was sent flying into the sky. Blood splattered everywhere, and the mist began to fade.
"Super Creature Mirage Beast killed. No beast soul gained. You may harvest its Life Geno Essence. Consume its Life Geno Essence to gain zero to ten super geno points randomly."
The mist was gone, and Han Sen could see the walls and gates of the shelter. They were ten meters away from him.
The body of the Mirage Beast that had been killed by the little angel was melting away. It looked very strange, and it looked like a big cat that walked on two legs. Its head had been cut off, and it was melting away with the rest of its body.

A Life Geno Essence fell to the ground like a gray mist. Han Sen picked it up and placed it inside the purple door. He used it to break the lock and then retreated.

The purple gate was knocked open by the giant beast. The giant beast roared and rushed into the shelter without hesitation.
The shelter was filled with beautiful palaces, but there were no creatures or spirits to be seen. It was so quiet, it was as if there was no one there.
The mist in the shelter was gone, and things became clearer. Han Sen looked around, but he did not see any other creatures. Even the little beast that the black tiger had brought into the shelter was gone. He did not hear its cries again.

The giant beast rushed to the front of the palace and slammed into it, trying to break it open to see if the little beast was inside.
However, the huge beast's collision did not cause the palace to collapse. Instead, a beam of sword light soared into the sky, leaving a several-meter-long wound on the huge beast's body. Blood gushed out of the wound.
